this privacy policy describes how HNGRY Retail Holdings LLC ("we," "us," or "the company"), operating as piece meals at piecemeals.com, collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

we collect information you provide directly when using our service, including: name, email address, phone number, delivery address, payment card details (processed and stored by Square — we do not store full card numbers), order history, and delivery notes.

2. how we use your information

we use your information to: process and deliver your orders, communicate order updates and delivery status, send you SMS and RCS text messages about our weekly menu drops (only if you opt in), send menu announcements (with your consent), improve our service, and comply with legal obligations.

3. third-party services

we share your information only with service providers necessary to operate the service: Square (payment processing), Neon (database hosting), Vercel (website hosting), and Resend (transactional email). we do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. in particular, no mobile information — including your phone number and SMS/RCS opt-in consent — is shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

4. data retention

we retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. order records are kept for accounting and legal purposes. you may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

5. cookies & local storage

we use HTTP-only session cookies for authentication (pm_session) and local storage for your shopping cart (pm_cart). we also use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure site traffic and usage, which may set its own analytics cookies. we do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. your rights

you may: access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and data, remove saved payment methods and addresses from your account page. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA.

7. security

we use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. payment information is handled by Square and is never stored on our servers. however, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. changes to this policy

we may update this privacy policy from time to time. continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

9. SMS & RCS text messaging

if you opt in at checkout by checking the text box and providing your mobile number, you agree to receive recurring text messages from piece meals about our weekly menu drops. messages are delivered as RCS on supported devices and carriers, and as SMS otherwise. order and delivery updates are sent separately by our delivery provider and are not part of this text-messaging program. message frequency is approximately 4 messages per month. message and data rates may apply. reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time, or reply HELP for help. consent is not a condition of purchase. see our messaging terms for full details.

no mobile information — including your phone number and SMS/RCS opt-in consent — is shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
